Visit Adirondack Coast

Welcome to the Adirondack Coast

Stretching across the western shores of Lake Champlain, New York’s Adirondack Coast offers visitors a wealth of history, recreation, and agricultural experiences amidst the backdrop of quaint mountain and lakeside villages. But don’t let the quiet charm fool you—from here, action-packed pursuits are never far off the beaten path!

STEP BACK IN TIME

Museum guides proudly share historic tales and local lore as they usher you back in time for an inside look at our storied past—and how it helped build a young American nation. Discover the Revolutionary War’s naval Battle of Valcour that shaped a young Benedict Arnold’s controversial military career, our victory during the War of 1812’s Battle of Plattsburgh, or the Champlain line of the Underground Railroad that led slaves to freedom in Canada.
