Howe Caverns – the second most visited natural attraction in New York State- offers a walking tour plus a boat ride on a subterranean riverbed. Journey north to Sharon Springs for a visit to this quaint historic town with a big reputation. Home to The Fabulous Beekman Boys and their goatmilk skincare line Beekman 1802, their mercantile is the best place to stock up on self-care necessities.

If you are seeking outdoor exploration, consider a visit to Landis Arboretum. This arboretum and public garden encompass hundreds of acres in Schoharie and Montgomery Counties.
