Visit The Sullivan Catskills

The Sullivan Catskills has long been a vacation destination where metro New Yorkers— families, couples, and friends of all ages — come to escape the crowded streets and sweltering summer heat.

The area is rich in hospitality, history, and pop culture. The resort industry with hundreds of hotels thrived for decades. In the summer of 1969, a half million young people descended on the small town of Bethel for three days of peace, love, and music at the Woodstock concert. And anglers from around the world still fish the legendary crystal-clear waters of the Beaverkill, Willowemoc, and Delaware rivers.

Summer remains a peak season, but the Sullivan Catskills is a four-season destination featuring a performing arts center at the site of the Woodstock festival, a full-service gaming resort, New York State’s most modern, state of the art indoor waterpark, and the only wellness center of its kind that offers authentic, ancient Indian holistic wellness practices.

Places to Visit in the Sullivan Catskills

There are more year-round things to do in the Sullivan Catskills than the calendar has weekends. Whether you seek adventure in your play, comfort in your stay, or just the promise of a Catskill-icous meal, you’ll never be disappointed.
