Overview

A great fun learning experience for all ages where science meets history.

Flint Hills Discovery Center is a dynamic tribute to the 10,000 square miles of tallgrass prairie of the geologic Flint Hills that surround Manhattan. Each exhibit area within the Discovery Center has an interactive component to enrich the learning experience. Your visit starts in the Immersive Experience Theater and the multimedia "Tallgrass Prairie: Tides of Time," then head to the rooftop for a panorama view of Manhattan. Don't forget to head upstairs to see what is on exhibit this month.
