Overview

This six-week beekeeping course, to be held Tuesday evenings from Feb. 20 to March 26, will teach you all you need to know to become a successful beekeeper. Mike Rusnak, a member of the Will County Beekeepers Association, has 18 years of experience teaching the beekeeping process. This Forest Preserve District workshop fee includes a personal copy of The Backyard Beekeeper by Kim Flottum. Note: The March 19 and March 26 sessions will be at Monee Reservoir due to the anticipated closure of Plum Creek Nature Center for construction. Registration is required by Friday, Feb. 10: 708-946-2216.
