Discover Seneca County, NY

Located in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes Region, Seneca County offers the opportunity to walk through history, discover new tastes, unwind through exploration and relax in the safety and comfort of reimagined spaces.

The first Women’s Rights Convention was held here. Organized in part by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the event launched a national movement for equal rights – most notably the right for women to vote. Its legacy is on display in the many community landmarks that remain standing more than 100 years after passage of the Nineteenth Amendment.

Home to the largest concentration of wineries in the world-renown Finger Lakes Region, Seneca County also features a variety of breweries, cideries and distilleries – something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Two of the region’s largest lakes and part of the Erie Canal system are also found here. Seneca Lake, the deepest at more than 600 feet and Cayuga Lake, the longest at over 40 miles offer wide open waters for exploration.

del Lago Resort & Casino offers the area’s hottest nightlife. From gaming to music and entertainment, del Lago is a must-add attraction to compliment any Finger Lakes visitor experience.
