Overview

Since the turn of the century, rodeos have been part of the Fourth of July in Cody, Wyoming. The Cody Stampede Rodeo has been held every summer for over 90 years. 2022 marks the 106th anniversary of Cody Stampede and the 84th anniversary of the Cody Nite Rodeo performances.

These two events establish Cody as one of the longest running professional rodeos, and the only place in the country that has a rodeo performance nightly. In 2001 the Cody Nite Rodeo was nominated for "Best Small Outdoor Rodeo of the Year”. Held nightly from June 1 through August 31.
